DESIGNATION :
Associate Trainer Senior Services (Integrated Care)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver/Facilitate classroom/virtual training and conduct competencybased assessments in accordance to approved training materials and assessment formats
  • Maintain and keep up to date of one's own body of knowledge relating to care practices in community care settings

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess WSQ ACTA or ACLP qualification
  • WSQ DACE qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • Possess Healthcare related qualifications such as Nitec in Nursing, Nitec in Community Care and Social Services, Diploma in Nursing, Degree in Nursing, etc.
  • Some years of work experience in Community Care sector is advantageous
  • Possess some experience in standup training delivery and facilitation in several of the following areas preferred:
  • Workplace Safety and Health in Healthcare
  • Hygiene and Infection Control
  • Oral Feeding
  • Patient Transfer with Mobility Aids
  • Elderly Toileting
  • Chronic Diseases Management
  • Measuring and Recording of Vital Signs
  • Medication Administration
  • Common Mental Health Conditions
  • Patient Centered Approach
  • Activities of Daily Living and Hygiene Practices for the Elderly
  • Good communication skills and able to relate to learners of various demographics and background
