Coordination Engineer

Contract Duration:
Min. 12 Months (with possible extension)

Venue:
Multiple Locations within Singapore (Depots, Site office, Main Office) - Depending on projects.

Job Description (Subjected to but not limited to)

- _
Project Planning:_

- _The role of coordination Engineer shall encompass collaboration and chair meeting with all stakeholders for the development of detailed project coordinated Installation programme(CIP) and shall not be limited to external stakeholders such as service wide contractors (SWC), ensuring closure with all parties for the sign-off._
- _To ensure that all scopes, timeline, schedule, programme, sequence of works and deliverables are covered in the CIP prior to the sign off with all coordinated parties._
- _To coordinated and attend all Civil contactors' meeting for the new CER, wall, floor opening, cable routing and equipment mounting are covered and incorporated in Civil CSD, SEM, CCSM, BIM and our ELARDS drawing._
- _To coordinated with all the Ceiling contractors for the new and existing ceiling panels' affecting our installation of cable support system, laying of cables and all associated field end devices such as Gpom and CCTV cameras etc._

Resource Allocation:_

- _To ensure that adequate resources are allocated for all works to be carried out on site such as site survey and installation works._
- _To monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed._

Stakeholder Communication:_

- _Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and project teams._
- _Facilitate regular communication and meetings to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress._
- _To collaborate with various stakeholders, including the design team, customers, Authority, SWC and sub-contractors ensuring a smooth project execution._

Issue Resolution:_

- _Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or deliverables._
- _Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve technical or logístical challenges._

- _
Project Documentation and Drawings:_

- _Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, change orders, and budget updates._
- _Ensure all project records are organized and easily accessible._
- _Ensure that all information's received from the coordinated parties are captured in our equipment layout and routing drawings(ELARDS) and documents that required for submission._
- _To prepare and develop installation method of statements and risk assessments for the CCTV replacement activities prior to any execution of site work._

Budget Management:_

- _Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures._
- _Report on financial status and variances to project management._

- _
Risk Management:_

- _Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies._
- _Proactively manage and address risks to prevent project delays or budget overruns._
- _Ensure that requirements and risk controls are considered in all construction planning and processes._

- _
Team Coordination:_

- _Foster collaboration among installation teams, design team, and subcontractors._
- _Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and teamwork._
- _To have a buddy system in-place covering your unavailability for work._

Additional Ad Hoc Works will also be included.

Qualifications and Work Experience
- _Bachelor's degree in project management, Electronic & Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years related field of experience. (or equivalent experience)._
- _Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering with 10 years related field of experience._
- _Proven experience in project coordination and management in LTA projects, preferably in the CCTV or security industry._
- _Knowledge in BIM models and experienced in managing interfaces for the design and construction of transit A&A projects, having a full understanding of the design and LTA approval process as well as BCA process._
- _Excellent organizational and multitasking skills._
- _Strong interpersonal and communication skills._
- _Proficiency in project management software and tools._
- _Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines._
