About the Job

Trelleborg Marine Systems Asia Pte Ltd is searching for a skilled Marketing Executive to join the Marketing team. As part of the Marketing Manager's team, your main task will be to create and execute a social media strategy - both organic and paid - that aligns with the overall business strategy, ensuring it effectively boosts the brand and extends its influence on the target audience's behavior.

The Marketing Executive's responsibilities go beyond those listed and may change as the business requires. You'd be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the content lead and the marketing team to generate content ideas for an engaging audience experience.
  • Creating innovative and engaging content for regular posts to enhance engagement, lead generation, and convey brand-focused messages.
  • Coordinating with the team and Product Areas to develop social media timelines linking with new product releases, ad campaigns, or brand messages.
  • Collaborating with videographers and multimedia designers to ensure captivating posts.
  • Optimizing content for various social media platforms.
  • Scheduling posts for optimal release times.
  • Promoting employee advocacy by educating and guiding sales managers and subject matter experts on social media usage for extended reach and lead generation.
  • Conducting audits and analyzing social media presence, including advertising ROI.
  • Assessing social media campaigns, gathering audience insights for campaign enhancement.
  • Ensuring timely responses to social media comments.
  • Efficiently managing social media platforms.
  • Monitoring and reporting competitor activities on social media.
  • Planning, executing, and overseeing email campaigns for Product Area Marine Technology.
  • Staying updated on social media trends and changes in relevant social media platforms.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Mass Communication
  • At least 1 to 2 years of proven experience
  • Experience in a regional or global setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in social media, especially LinkedIn, and influencer campaign strategies
  • Proficiency in video and graphic design creation or editing tools
  • Strong time management, project management skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the maritime or infrastructure industry and engineering and manufacturing environment is a plus; willingness to learn if no formal exposure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and with individuals at all levels
  • Detail-oriented, quick learner, adaptable, and creative
  • Proficient in digital and integrated marketing
