About the Position:
If you are enthusiastic about providing strategic insights and influencing market strategies, consider joining the vibrant APAC team at Stryker. Take on the responsibility of enhancing our competitive intelligence and market sizing capabilities.
In this role, you will act as an internal consultant for the Stryker APAC team, playing a vital role in shaping competitive and marketing strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders. Your tasks will involve accessing, evaluating, and analyzing both internal and external data to establish best practices for market sizing, competitive monitoring, and market insights.
As part of the Business Development and Business Insights APAC team, you will engage with various Stryker businesses, gaining exposure to different countries, functions, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Insights (Customer, Market, and Competition):
- Analyze market trends and translate them into: Market size and share trends; relevant insights regarding disease trends; opportunities and challenges arising from evolving standards of care.
Synthesize and develop:
- Analyses on the macro environment to aid strategic planning and quantify opportunities for new business development ventures.
- Processes and enhance capabilities to assess competitive dynamics at the BU level.
- Data toolkits and analytics support/modelling for business and strategic planning purposes and management discussions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain a market information database/repository to monitor performance in target segments.
- Conduct specialized market analyses to meet business-specific/country-specific requirements.
- Provide data and insights to business/country leadership for developing commercial strategies and go-to-market models.
- Utilize APAC frameworks to back business/country-specific initiatives.
- Offer project management support for key projects.
- Conduct specific analyses to assist in constructing the marketing plan.
- Connect insights with crucial business decisions, draft actionable recommendations, and collaborate with the business to implement these recommendations.
- Collaborate with business partners to consolidate the organization's existing knowledge base and identify areas for improvement to enhance decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Master's in Management/MBA degree is mandatory.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in market research.
- Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple projects efficiently within set timelines.
- Ability to influence without formal authority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
