  • Post award subcontract management, drafting and/or review and approval of subcontract notices, amendments, change requests and change orders formalization of subcontract closeout.
  • Have an understanding of dispute avoidance and resolution

Requirements:

  • MRICS, MCIArb, SCL is an advantage
  • Understand and interpret contractual language with ability to formulate arguments that support the contractual interpretation sought by the company.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience (10 years and above to be considered for Senior role).
  • Upstream oil and gas experience working for owner and contractor organizations in a project delivery environment.
  • Constructions contracts experience
  • Understanding of technical, commercial, contractual and execution risk in a construction contracts environment and the inter relationships tradeoffs between these aspects.
  • Understanding of the legal system with a focus on common law
  • Understanding the law of tort and civil wrongs and the impact on contractual relationships
  • A detailed knowledge and understanding of contract law
  • Have a deep understanding of construction law
  • Willing to take on contract role 13 years.
