Your role


Our major Oil & Energy (Downstream) Client is looking for Environment Data and Reporting who will be based in Bukom and Jurong Island and be responsible for Energy and GHG Management as well as HSSE Data Reporting Process.

You will ensure all quarterly and monthly reporting deadlines for Environment reporting are met.

You will collect, reconcile and quality check of Environment data to ensure delivery of timely quality environmental data for Bukom/Jurong Island to Group/Government Regulators.


Furthermore, you will verify the credibility of the HSSE data independently through knowledge of work-files, processes and collaboration with multi-disciplines.

You will analyse Environment data and prepare material to fold into reports on Bukom's and Jurong Island's HSSE performance.

  • Leverage data to understand and identify trends, provide insights and understanding to Bukom and Jurong Island Leadership Team and DSM Group Reporting
  • Prepare Environment documentation in meeting compliance and easy retrieval, for auditing and verification purposes
  • Participate as auditee for Group and Regulatory Conformance Audits, which includes providing clarifications and closing out audit actions
  • Strive for efficiencies through use of automated reporting tools
  • Support Environment Specialists to interface with respective departments (i.e. Technology, Finance, Engineering, Operations) to ensure quality HSSE data and completion of other deliverables for reporting needs
  • Collect waste disposal data and (Optional) performing etracking for hazardous waste submission to NEA. This includes beginningtoend finance related actions such as cost tracking, raising purchase requests and service entry sheets
  • Attend onsite briefing, discussion and consultation session with regulatory authorities to understand requirements from Authority
  • Support Environment Specialists in the deliverance of site's Environment Campaigns and Communication initiatives
  • Support the HSSE Department in all other initiatives as and when required by the Environment Manager, Bukom and Jurong Island HSSE Managers

You are what we are looking for if you:

  • Have minimum one year experience in GHG and environment
  • Are knowledgeable in oil & gas Standards (i.e. API Compendium, GRI) as well local regulatory requirements under local authorities (i.e. PUB and NEA) preferably
  • Have excellent data management skills and ability to integrate data across different platforms
  • Are able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with a crowded and often changing business agenda
  • Have high level of accuracy in work product, attention to detail
  • Are willing to work additional hours and provide extended coverage during key reporting periods
  • Have strong English language communication skills (oral and written)
  • Have strong Microsoft Office skills including Powerpoint, Excel, Word
