Role & Responsibilities:

Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
Drive MSS initiatives across VF brands and product types (Footwear, Apparel and EQP). Influence overall "Speed" strategy on identifying opportunities to ideate, create and implement speed enablers under the "Make" Pillar.

Foster "Faster Together" initiatives by connecting with regional stakeholders, vendors, suppliers and cross-function business partners.


Utilize Industrial Engineering & Lean Manufacturing techniques that result in measurable and tangible efficiency improvement whilst working directly and/or indirectly with manufacturers.

Responsible for defining the tools and data structures needed to support "Speed" projects implementation and its outcomes.


Lead, direct and be accountable for the overall performance of MSS team in the delivery of all the "Speed" projects and its data analytics.


Key Result Areas:

  • Collaborate and influence in the cocreation of "Multi-SpeedSupply" strategies along with Operations and Product Teams across all VF Core Global Brands. Ideate, develop and implement multispeed, responsive supply chain strategies and optimize product supply across VF Global Sourcing network, to match differentiated needs for speed, cost and service.
  • Identify opportunities to evolve the VF speed vision through the data driven and market informed approach so that the speed vision works in concert with the Plan, Create and Sell pillars within the Go to Market transformation (GTM) strategy.
  • Lead speed projects/ initiatives (including process mapping, SOP creation etc.) by connecting with regional stakeholders, vendors, suppliers and crossfunctional business partners.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to communicate, influence, partner and lead with different internal and external to drive transformational change. Capacity to lead and manage key SPEED projects throughout the supply chain.
  • Lead quantitative research, analysis, synthesize findings, prepare presentations and assist in presenting findings to all levels of management.
  • Create, own, measure and drive Multi-SpeedSupply performance indicators, derive key insights, and devise and execute experiments and multivariate tests to find speed solutions.
  • Work directly or indirectly with vendors to reduce lead times and improve Speed to Market.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, perform analyses and communicate learnings and insights across internal and external channels.
  • Creation of overall data visualization with several tools: excel, tableau, smartsheet.
