Purpose of the role

The main role in the Portfolio Management Unit (PMU) is to devise a distribution strategy for the loan portfolio of Global Corporate & Investment Banking for APAC (GCIB APAC). This involves conducting detailed analyses, making proposals to define the Originate to Distribute strategy aligned with GCIB objectives and risk tolerance. Collaboration with various teams to set up efficient processes, standardized monitoring practices, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) is crucial. Additionally, building and optimizing the MIS tool for effective information flow and pipeline management is a key responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data and propose distribution strategies aligned with GCIB objectives and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with teams to establish and manage loan distribution processes.
  • Recommend strategies to enhance portfolio profitability and increase distribution efficiency.
  • Monitor distribution book performance and report progress regularly.
  • Manage fees and enhance discipline in distribution processes.
  • Develop MIS tools for transparent analysis of distribution results.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to enhance distribution strategies.
  • Lead communication to execute portfolio strategies effectively.
  • Work closely with supervisors for guidance and departmental contribution.
  • Continuously improve processes in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Maintain and update data for effective distribution strategy.
  • Independently manage tasks and provide progress reports.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and handle additional tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in the financial industry.
  • 5 years of experience in financial products, deal structure, and distribution processes.
  • Experience in managing regional projects.
  • Strong strategic planning and communication skills.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
