We market through retail stores, catalogs, and online channels. Global expansion is a key strategy for us, focusing on company-owned stores, DTC channels, and franchise partnerships.

This role is crucial for WSI's Global Inventory Management team. Responsibilities involve planning and purchasing for company-owned stores and websites, executing demand forecasting, managing inventory, optimizing assortment investments, and ensuring profitability. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet financial targets and brand strategies.

Reports to Sr Manager - Retail Planning, Dist & Franchise Ops.

Pre-Season:

  • Collaborate with the merchant team to develop annual and seasonal financial plans supporting brand strategies.
  • Establish seasonal assortment roll-up plans and SKU-level balance of newness vs. core business.
  • Analyze business performance, SKU productivity, trends, and provide insights for pre-season strategy.
  • Resolve SKU issues with the merchant team to maintain brand performance.
  • Ensure timely completion of SKU plans for PO placement deadlines.
  • Manage the placement and tracking of brand Global purchase orders.

In-Season:

  • Review business performance and take actions for sales, margin, and inventory productivity optimization.
  • Develop 12-month rolling financial forecasts in alignment with brand strategy.
  • Analyze inventory levels to support brand strategy and manage inventory flow.
  • Build promotional plans and forecast monthly promotions.
  • Manage seasonal promotions and SKU level demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support promotional activities.

Ongoing:

  • Provide analytical reporting and evaluate processes for improvements.
  • Build strong cross-functional collaborations and positive team environment.
  • Support training and development of team members.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Diploma/Degree with 2-5 years' experience in an analytical/strategic role, preferably in Retail.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • International experience is desirable.
