Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Distribution:

  • Execute daily the Replenishment & Allocation from warehouse to stores across multiple countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Guam, India, Australia, New Zealand)
  • Monitor Store Capacity vs Stock on hand regularly. Gather data from stores and maintain updated capacity information for all SAP stores
  • Monitor Target stock level vs OH for all SKUs and stores consistently to ensure alignment with latest sales performances
  • Develop allocation strategies to optimize store inventory by adjusting SKU depth and weeks of coverage based on store events, renovations, and changes
  • Ensure appropriate Inventory levels for new store openings, renovations, and pop-up stores to prevent stockouts and maintain sufficient coverage for top-selling products

Management & Allocation of Client Requests:

  • Deliver top-notch service to key clients, source and allocate products promptly
  • Update the Client Request file after every allocation, keeping stores informed about request status & ETA
  • Handle occasional manual allocation for urgent client requests received from stores

Provide Inventory Visibility to Retail, Merchandising & VM Team:

  • Assist Merchandising team in managing the assortment effectively. Identify underperforming styles quickly and suggest assortment adjustments for optimal inventory management
  • Conduct store visits to gather feedback on stock levels and assess TSL adjustments when necessary
  • Offer stock visibility to stores by recommending actions for high & low stock situations, shortages, alternatives, and deliveries
  • Regularly share assortment updates with stores, including information on upcoming seasons and styles to retain as display pieces

Consolidation / Rebalancing of Stock:

  • Consolidate stocks between stores
  • Rebalance stocks across SEAP Countries by developing proposals, sending instructions to stores, and creating necessary paperwork for inter-country stock transfers. Collaborate closely with Logistics throughout the process.

Update Demand & Planning Team on Events and Trends:

  • Collect feedback at line and department levels from sales performance to provide insights to the demand and planning team, including feedback from buyers on sales forecasts
  • Create and maintain a seasonal calendar for teams outlining Special Events, store openings, sales trends, and holiday peaks

Adhoc Activities:

  • Collaborate with VM & Merchandising team on special events like Openings, Refurbishments, and Special launches to ensure appropriate store inventory levels
  • Lead strategic projects to address country-specific issues (e.g., Overstock in Singapore, Warehouse transition in Australia)
  • Initiate Special Projects to enhance communication between Retail and Merchandising
  • Prepare and present findings and analysis to Senior Management

Requirements:

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Project Management, Management, or related fields
  • 1-2 years' experience in merchandising, merchandising planning, or supply chain
  • Solid comprehension of Supply Chain Metrics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups)
  • Excellent relational skills to work in an international setting and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Team player with experience in cross-functional environments
  • Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment
