Position Overview:

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated security systems, focusing on CCTV and card access systems. This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and installation teams to ensure that systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design and Implementation:

Develop detailed designs for integrated security systems, including CCTV and card access control systems.

Configure and program system components to meet specific project requirements.

Oversee the installation and commissioning of systems to ensure they function correctly and meet client expectations.

2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support to clients and internal teams for installed systems.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to security systems.

Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal system performance.

3. Project Coordination:

Work with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.

Coordinate with installation teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining security systems, including CCTV and card access systems.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV and card access control.

Proficiency in network and IT infrastructure as it relates to security systems.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
