Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site evaluations to identify electrical product and meter locations, and perform range tests to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and as-built drawings for system or equipment modifications and expansions.
  • Install, test, and commission repeaters or wireless devices, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including thermoscan and EEPROM downloading, data backup, and system checks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational equipment issues, applying corrective solutions as needed.
  • Assist in the internal wiring and assembly of electrical products and meters, and perform soldering of electronics parts.
  • Collaborate with partners and contractors to ensure project coordination and timely completion of schedules.
  • Manage enquiries, feedback, and operational issues, providing effective solutions and support.
  • Conduct site surveys, project management, documentation, testing, user training, and commissioning, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Minimum ITE, NTC/ITC, or NITEC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of firmware and electronics engineering principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and manage concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work effectively during weekends when required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical systems engineering or a related field.
