Job Description for Buyer

About the Position

This job listing is for a Buyer position at a company located in Serangoon. The role is on a permanent basis, and the working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. The salary offered is approximately $4200 per month along with Additional Wage Supplements (AWS) and Variable Bonus (VB).

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring: Track daily reports, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Vendor Portal for timely product delivery.
  • Procurement: Source materials for manufacturing and aftermarket requirements.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Assess supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery, and manage accounts payable and technical communications.
  • Supplier Development: Identify and cultivate new supply sources when needed.
  • Coordination: Collaborate on purchasing activities with different departments.
  • Lean Programs: Implement efficient programs with suppliers.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain inventory levels as per planned requirements.
