Overall Purpose of The Job

  • The SeaTec (a V.Services brand) Sales Executive will report to the Sales Director for V.Services, playing a vital role in the development of SeaTec's commercial growth the Asia-Pacific and Middle East markets. They will have a detailed understanding of the DSP's of each service line and the ability to conduct technical sales conversations at a mid to senior level. Crucial to this role will be a dedication to excellent customer service, quality and accountability.

As a Sales Executive, the role is to hunt out business with the support of the Sales Director and locally based Commercial director.

They will be expected to work autonomously but be part of a growing, talented centralised commercial team, interacting with the team virtually, on a daily/weekly bases.

The team will support them in their endeavours to represent and grow SeaTec.
The Sales Executive will be the primary business contact for clients. They will be required to develop a rapport with clients to close new business and grow/maintain repeat business. In terms of time allocation, an 80/20 (new/repeat) split is likely.

Success will be define through meeting SMART KPIs created expertly to drive new business and maintain rigorous standards of customer service.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Driving new sales of SeaTec services by:
  • Cold calling and leveraging business connections to conduct face-to-face sales meetings
  • Cultivating quality relationships with a wide variety of key decision makers
  • Initiating and expanding on associations with high priority accounts
  • Developing proposals and delivering presentations
  • Account Management of allocated clients
  • Becoming and expert in your market
  • Maintaining CRM and adherence to sales governance

Required Experience

  • A solid foundation of experience in customer facing/communication/sales roles.
Ideally within the marine industry but not essential.
Skills and Qualifications

  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Active listener
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Natural ability to connect with customers and gain trust at all levels
  • Tenacious mentality and self starter
  • Knowledge of the Marine market
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
