The New Business Units (NBU) division comprises some of the most exciting and enterprising teams at Ninja Van.

Building on Ninja Van's existing capabilities, we experiment with new ideas to develop innovative products and services that enhance our core business and help us serve our clients, partners and end-customers better.


Housed within the NBU division, the Financing business unit is a new vertical that supports Ninja Van's ecosystem partners with micro-financing and cross-border payment solutions.


The Payment Operations Lead role is centered around facilitating multi-currency payments on behalf of Ninja Direct merchants, across various international payment corridors.

As a member of a fast-paced and dynamic team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the operational efficiency of two rapidly expanding business units

.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Cross-Border Payment team to ensure that payment to suppliers is processed in a cost effective manner
  • Timely and accurate transaction settlement with Ninja's counterparties
  • Liaising with Ninja's counterparties and with internal teams to address payment inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of payment records for analysis of cost and currency exchange rates
  • Timely reconciliation of incoming funds and payouts for a clear view of cash balances across accounts
  • Continuous improvement of payment process and streamlining of month end reports

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting related fields
  • 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and confidently with confidential matters
  • Flexible and adaptable to work and thrive in a fastpaced, rapidly changing work environment
