About The Role

The Manager / Senior Manager (Electrical), Campus Development reports to the Senior Manager (Sustainability and Smart Technology), Campus Development. The role involves overseeing electrical, extra low voltage, security, and audio-visual engineering aspects related to the new flagship campus' development. This includes managing projects focusing on system efficiency optimization, renewable energy generation/storage, and smart energy management solutions to meet Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy, Zero Energy and/or Positive Energy standards. The position also involves centralizing the monitoring and management of SUSS's operations at the new flagship campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical, extra low voltage, security, and audio-visual engineering works for building developments, infrastructure, and alteration projects, including feasibility studies, budgeting, design, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate their requirements into project briefs.
  • Evaluate proposed engineering works to ensure they meet project objectives, budget, specifications, and compliance.
  • Review designs and specifications to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality, specifications, and timely completion within budget.
  • Oversee external resources to execute projects.
  • Provide technical support for issue resolution.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Experience in Photovoltaic, Electric Vehicle Charging systems, and sustainability solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in large-scale development projects' engineering works.
  • Knowledge of Government policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of macro analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
