Your field of responsibility
The role will participate in and contribute to the investment team's investment strategy and portfolio management activities.

Specific responsibility is to manage equity and balanced portfolios, primarily to drive equity performance and build a strong track record with the team.

As equity specialist, this role will add value to the global stock selection groups from APAC.

This role will represent the investment team in conducting presentations to private and institutional clients as well as internal Relationship Managers to successfully acquire assets and position investment management as a core solution to the Private Bank.

Your skills and experience
We are looking for individuals who have a real passion for Asian equity investments.

An established, good, long track record of out-performance in managing equity portfolios with expertise of Asian equity markets, including South Asia & India is preferred.

The ability to manage portfolios with varying risk parameters. Have a strong analytical background in equity research; and technical understanding of equity markets, stock selection and company analysis.

  • Ideally 15+ years of relevant experience in portfolio management and clientfacing role and a teamplayer
  • Able to participate in and add value to multiasset strategy and portfolio implementation & monitoring
  • Be able to lead a team of portfolio managers when required
  • Outstanding quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel Macro programming and financial modeling
  • Other programming skills i.e. Python would be an advantage
  • Relevant University or Graduate Degree is essential with a sharp analytical mind; CFA is a plus
  • Effective in presenting investment views and product messaging to small and large groups of internal partners as well as to external prospects
  • Outstanding relationship building skills
  • Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills with Mandarin proficiency as the role will require covering Mandarinspeaking clients and regularly communicating with other external and internal stakeholders in Mandarinspeaking locations within APAC
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint, Bloomberg skilld
