[What the role is]

We are looking for a Senior Officer to support 2 departments overseeing MICE and Cruise infrastructure. This will be a 7-months' contract position. You will provide administrative support to the 2 departments and account manage 2 key tourism developments i.e. Singapore Expo and Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore.

[What you will be working on]

Project/Account support

  • Account and asset management of Singapore Expo and Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore which includes ensuring timely submission of compliance report updates and business reports, processing of license fees, collection of rentals, and liaising with authorities on matters pertaining to the asset.
  • Preparation of quarterly updates on assets to management, which entail assessment of operator performance in areas such as KPIs, financials, and asset compliance.
  • Liaison with other MICE venues on ad hoc projects.
Administrative duties

  • Budgeting and procurement for the departments to ensure adherence to the Board's financial guidelines and procedures.
  • Administrative and logístical duties such as assisting with the daytoday functions of the department (e.g. raising purchase orders, reviewing payment vouchers, preparing payment checklists, liaising with STB Finance for disbursements, booking travel tickets for overseas travel as well as filing and documentation)
  • Supporting key infrastructure projects in the areas of industry stakeholder management, research and secretariat duties.
  • Knowledge manager for the Division.
[What we are looking for]

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power point
  • Good budget management skills, secretariat skills
  • Able to followup on tasks in a timely manner
  • Knowledge and understanding of government functions and government procurement process. Knowledge on the management of assets, lease agreements and related regulations
