We're searching for a Cybersecurity Data Scientist to be part of our diverse team of talent here at NCS

What we seek to accomplish together:

  • Translate client pain-points into problem statements, gathering requirements from client business needs, design and architect analytics solution to create business values for them
  • Leverage data science tools / techniques to analyse data sets through custom models and algorithms to uncover various insights
  • Create demo assets around identified business use cases
  • Develop and manage fullcycle data pipelines from data inputs, data cleaning and preprocessing, to feature engineering, model creation, and deploying for production
  • Work in interdisciplinary teams that combine technical, business and data science competencies to deliver project work in waterfall / agile software development lifecycle methodologies
  • Present statistically sound model validations to justify model selections and performance

A little about you:

  • Able to articulate complex architectural problems and solutions
  • Possess strong critical thinking and communication skills to understand our client's core business objectives
  • Able to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment
  • Have a desire to work at the intersection of businesses and technology
  • Able to build and maintain complex queries, streaming, and realtime data pipelines in support of data fabric and data mesh data management approaches
  • Knowledge on developing playbooks, standardizing frameworks, practice guides and other artefacts that will allow our practitioners to perform their work in a structured, standard manner
  • Stay up to date with data modelling and data management platforms, tools, and techniques

What you might also need to have:

  • Degree in computer engineering, computer science, Information Technology System, or other related disciplines
  • 3 5 years of experience in Data Platform Architect Role
  • Strong competency in data modelling and architecting skills
  • Strong competency in building large scale enterprise data pipelines using Data Analytics platforms and applied onto high performing data warehouses, data lakes and data hubs
  • Have experience in data platform migration projects
