About the Team:


We're looking for a user experience (UX) Content Designer to collaborate closely for a new business unit, covering Product Management, Design, Marketing, Engineering, and Localization team members.

Through clear, expressive writing, you'll transform product features and concepts so that they're intuitive and easy to understand.


As an advocate for our users, you'll use design thinking, empathy, and data to help shape and refine our product and identify opportunities to build better experiences.

You're independent, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving.

You have experience juggling multiple projects and prioritizing them to have the greatest impact on your team and the company.

You're also a strategic communicator, helping to define product narratives in conjunction with your team.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit UI text to help Effect House users navigate our product
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, engineers, ops, and localization to set a high bar for the overall user experience
  • Manage and prioritize projects with multiple stakeholders across China, Singapore, and the US
  • Drive process improvements to optimize collaboration
  • Lead content audits to identify opportunities and drive consistency across the product
  • Contribute to our content standards and be a champion for best practices
  • Understand how to balance business requirements and customer needs in building features
  • Collaborate with, influence, and drive consensus with stakeholders and their feedback
  • Synthesize internal and external feedback to improve content clarity and quality
  • Complete highquality work in a fastpaced, dynamic work environment

Qualifications:

  • English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years experience in content design for consumerfacing products, (preferably products with technical mobile and web tools)
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Localization teams
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to deal with rapid changes and situations that are not ideal
  • Selfstarter who can manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment and stay focused when faced with changing requirements

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working on a global product with international partners
  • Experience using Figma
