Responsibilities
Trade Book Data Management (30%)
- Conduct daily checking to ensure the accuracy of trade book data, promptly identifying and rectifying any incorrect information through effective communication with the Front Office and Trade Operations.
- Provide diligent oversight of the division's risk positions and prepare comprehensive reports to facilitate informed decisionmaking.
- Calculate and analyse divisional Profit and Loss (P&L) using trade book and market data.
- Prepare accurate and informative reports based on P&L analysis.
- Execute internal coordination and administrative duties associated with MO jobs, encompassing tasks such as implementing internal control changes, facilitating system development, and organising folders.
- Prepare market report analyses and handle any ad hoc requirements
EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in the commodity trading environment.
- Degree in Business / Finance & Accounting / Engineering / Statistical from a recognised university
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
- Enjoy working with numerical data, analysing trends, graphs, and identifying discrepancies.
- Meticulous and pay a high level of attention to accuracy and details.
- Able to build good rapport and communicate information well to other divisions.
- Have initiative and the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Familiar with middle, front, and backoffice functions, such as hedging and derivatives.
- Background in trade management systems will be advantageous.
