The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team.

The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.


Responsibilities:

  • Process securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products
  • Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues, and make process improvement recommendations to leadership
  • Analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements, aid in control activities, and contribute to the launch of product services
  • Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
  • Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
  • Design and analyze moderately complex reports, in coordination with standards set by direct leadership
  • Assist with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
  • Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies

Qualifications:

  • 02 years of relevant experience
  • Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
  • Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a highrisk environment
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of macros

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance

Cash Middle Office Analyst, Singapore Job Description
Handle trade booking, static data update and reconciliation activities in various Asean, Europe and US markets;
Deliver excellent service to our priority clients and understand very well on client's requirement;
Proactively provide solution and step-in to help team members until the problem resolved;
Support Equities business, review operating procedures and discuss with business on implementation;
Liaise with CGM trading desks and Client's back offices to book the orders after completion/market close.
Follow up with other CGM global offices if any pending bookings, to avoid potential fails prior to settlement date;
Reply client queries immediately as per client's expectations.
Closely work with CGM settlements team to settle all trades on time.
Assist in following up various projects related to Middle Office Operations;
Ensure proper segregation of duties and controls in each function and follow.
Ensure processes are completed in compliance with Firm's policies;
Work with Manager / Supervisor on project implementation and UAT.
Collaborate with other Middle Offices to achieve common goals.
Be a backup of other markets when someone is holidays.
