About us:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Our
    Sr. Accountant will participate in determining objectives of assignment, plan schedules & arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives, exert some influence on the overall objectives and longterm goals of the organisation and may provide guidance, mentoring and direction to other employee.
  • Other responsibilities include (not limited to):
  • Providing high level advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the company with respect to Accounting activities.
  • Coordinating and performing a wide range of accounting activities and maintaining an effective internal control interface with external & internal audit agencies.
  • Actively seek out and act on opportunities for continuous improvement by reviewing and analyzing complex processes to reduce cycle time, improve productivity and reduce overall costs.
  • Liaising effectively with internal & external stakeholders and working effectively in cross functional teams to deliver results working with others in differing work cultures and timezones.
  • Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems and providing & implementing effective approved solutions; and contributing to business improvement initiatives.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, or equivalent experience/combined education with additional training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks and at least 8 years of relevant experience, as well as relevant certifications i.e. ACCA or CPA.
  • You will also have:
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in reviewing employee expense reports, JV and Account Payable transactions and basic payroll experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in, and ability to manage complex international programs utilizing multiple currencies, ledger systems and disclosure statements.
  • Significant experience in multiple project analysis and management, financial analysis, financial reporting and forecasting, accounting, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge in FCPA and IFRS or US GAAP and government financial accounting are desirable.
  • Basic European tax and audit experience is advantageous.
