What the role is

  • Contribute to:
  • Achieving Community Chest's philanthropy and engagement goals, including mobilsation of donations and resources for the social service sector.
  • Acquiring new partnerships and increase new donors segments/donors.
  • Brokering and facilitating fundraising & engagement partnerships with corporate accounts from the Private sector.
  • Deepening existing partnerships and donation support from corporate accounts.
  • Planning, organising and enhancing causebased fundraising initiatives with corporate partners/High net worth individuals/ Family Office.
  • Working with various business units within NCSS to develop fundraising and engagement strategies via a datadriven approach in achieving Community Chest's fundraising commitment.
  • Perform relationship and engagement functions to achieve fundraising targets through all existing donation platforms (e.g. outright donations and SHARE programme, engagement activities, fundraising events etc.) for respective industry segment(s) and specific accounts with supervision from Head of Department (HOD).
  • Strengthen the engagement and relationship with existing donors through regular and robust donor stewardship to enhance donor experience to promote continued support.
  • Manage, measure and be accountable for the annual KPIs assigned by HOD, and enable the achievement of NCSS' goals, including participation in events and programmes.
  • Cultivate and build up relationship with potential new donors by strategising the approach and implementation plan, in consultation with HOD.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with internal stakeholders within NCSS in achieving philanthropy and engagement outcomes.
  • Any other duties as assigned by HOD that are aligned to Community Chest's strategic purposes.

  • Basic data literacy and able to be comfortable with analysing spreadsheets and dashboards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
