The Strategy & Ops Engineer will serve as key liaison person and partner strategically with relevant partners to ensure the successful implementation of key initiatives that advances the team's strategy, performance and compliance for Micron Technology, Inc., operations globally.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Collaborate and partner with global and local EHSS and other relevant partners (PMO, Learning & Development, Documentation teams) to develop and deploy global programs and business processes to network and multicultural audiences.
  • Serve as owner of EHSS curricula and trainings in Learning Management System (Workday, OJTCert, QuestionMark), all Global EHSS procedures/standards, and its related business processes, including but not limited to training and technical standard's deployment.
  • Key contact for translation needs with approved translation companies. Acquire feedback and provide continual improvements and feedback to vendor as needed on document translation quality, performance, and timing of delivery.
  • Provide relevant governance, alignment, and mentorship on project, program, and/or portfolio management methodology, and other processes, systems, and software, to external and internal team partners where applicable, and repivoting priorities based on the changing business landscape.
  • Build and maintain, or collaborate with metrics and systems team, to periodically publish, measure, and supervise or canned and adhoc reports and dashboards, at regular and as needed intervals. Drive accountability and continual improvement through clear communication, feedback, effective project management updates, and appropriate usage of metrics.
  • Perform as coordinated member of the Global EHS & Sustainability Strategy and Operations Team and accept other tasks as vital to enable the success of the team and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety) and/or related field. Additional qualifications are advantageous (Registered Safety Officer, Fire Safety Manager, Occupational Hygienist).
  • Strong teammate to effectively collaborate with multifunctional organizations and consistent track record, interpersonal, and customer service skill to comfortably work across boundaries and geographies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to converse in multiple languages such as Chinese, Malay, and Japanese are desired.
  • Professional, organized, meticulous, strong analytical, problemsolving, and facilitation skills. Able to independently complete tasks and adapt to constantly evolving environment.
  • Proficient digital literacy in reporting and dashboarding software (PowerBI) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, PP, Excel, Outlook, Project, Power Automate, PowerApps).
  • Knowledge and experience with Micron systems (EDC, SharePoint, MT Groups, ECN, PDR).
