About the Role:

The Integration Assistant Staff– Sustainability plays a critical role in bridging the gap between global and regional organizations and connecting Global Procurement Office with Asahi Group Holdings with respect to the sustainability agenda. This position is responsible for ensuring sustainability is embedded in procurement strategies, vision, and governance across the organization, as well as fostering unity across regions and promoting the sharing of best practices and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the GPO team and regional procurement teams to implement procurement purpose, vision, strategies, and governance with a primary focus on the Sustainability agenda.
  • Align global category strategies with specific procurement needs and regulations of each region, taking into account factors such as local suppliers, market conditions, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Promote one team spirit between all regions to enable the sharing of best practices and knowledge and with relation to Asahi Group Holding (Sustainability section).
  • Learn and apply Global Procurement People strategy and culture, including DEI, employee engagement, and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • 3+ years of professional experience, with 2+ years in procurement/sustainability.
  • Experience from an above-market role.
  • Procurement platform experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
