Specific responsibility:

Individual to be involved in:

  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Negotiate terms of agreements with business owners.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Review the work progress on daily basis
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Ensure quality standards on customer services
  • Build and promote strong long-lasting customer relationships and understanding their needs

Competencies:

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also to lead a team when the opportunity arises
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Must possess good communication skills, with emphasis on the ability to effectively produce and distribute information across different units within and outside the firm
  • Good leadership qualities are of utmost importance
  • Good time management abilities
  • Good negotiation skills and excellent decision-making ability
  • Good customer service skills so as to be able to maintain/retain existing customers
  • Good interpersonal skills are also important
  • Knowledge of the procedures and modes of transportation for moving goods eg cars.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of basic customer service procedures
Duration of Traineeship/Attachment: 6 months
