Job Description:
Social Media Executive


The position involves the curation of content for social media and eCommerce platforms, with the objective of generating interest towards the brand and driving sales while maintaining luxury market positioning.

This role presupposes an understanding of social media management and a basic understanding of search engine & social media advertising and SEO.

This position reports to the Assistant Marketing Director.

Within the organization, this position has primary working relationships with the Marketing and eCommerce team.

Outside the organization, the position coordinates primarily with media and KOLs and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and create social media editorial calendar to promote brand on various platforms.
  • Write and upload copy for social media posts, website news, stories, product descriptions, frequently asked questions and other content.
  • Curate content for various social media platforms and create and update a social media calendar.
  • Reply, followup and investigate customer service enquiries on social platforms.
  • Assist to populate content and manage overall Content Management System (CMS) of website (English).
  • Review and categorize Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), publishers, media agencies, influencers etc. in online and offline database.
  • Maintain and update image bank using the proper naming convention on local and online drive.
  • Draft content to support internal departments not limited to Corporate Sales, Operations etc.
  • Support internal marketing, business development, operations and corporate sales teams to develop strategic and tactical content.
  • Regular lead and performance tracking and reporting during postmarketing campaigns.
  • Assist when needed with the processing of eCommerce and Third-Party Marketplaces orders in the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system software.
  • Assist the marketing and PR teams when required.

Requirements:

  • At least 34 years' experience in a strategic social media and/or digital marketing strategist role.
  • Knowledge of social media metrics, SEO, and other social media tools to track and measure success. Addicted to social media and genuinely excited by digital technologies.
  • Experience dealing with and managing local and international markets and customers.
  • Has natural finesse for design for balance and composition in all visual content. An obsession for creating impactful visual content is welcomed.
  • Fluent in English and possess strong copywriting skills along with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Sound knowledge of social media marketing tools (Hootsuite, etc) is preferred.
  • Presentation skills and previous experience in the luxury industry would be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of search and social media advertising, programmatic advertising and content conceptualisation and production would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences is much preferred.
