About the role

What you need to know:

  • Underwriting Direct Insurance and Facultative Reinsurance Property businesses
  • Risk selection: Evaluate, accept or decline risk submission in accordance with AIG underwriting guidelines
  • Collaborate with risk engineers, claims experts, actuary and legal counsel,
  • Underwrite, formulate, implement, administer Multinational programs
  • Maintain relationships with assigned brokers
  • Monitor business pipelines via Salesforce
  • Supervise the administration of policy document, premium booking, credit control & data quality management.
  • Comply with internal and external audit requirement.
  • Participate in adhoc global p. Underwriting Insurance and Facultative Property Reinsurance

What we're looking for:

  • Diploma / university degree
  • At least 34 years of technical underwriting experience in Property
  • General Insurance Certified (BCP, PGI, ComGI)
  • Familiar with RMS system
  • A knowledge of local and Asian insurance markets.
  • Analytical problemsolving skills
  • Able to balance underwriting, marketing and clients management responsibility
  • Team player, with an ability to build relationships with external business partners and internal stakeholders
  • Effective communication (oral and written)
