Apac Transfer Agency Product Manager

The Product Manager is a senior position responsible for supporting the APAC region, setting strategy, and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management for the Transfer Agency product with initial focus on Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesia.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Regional and Global Product team.
The overall objective of this role is to ensure local market regulatory alignment, drive product development, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daytoday product management for the Transfer Agency product such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
- Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
- Ensure in the medium and longerterm that the Transfer Agency product proves highly competitive in terms of capability and client experience vs competitor products, and own and lead initiatives to consistently deliver a leading product and service proposition
- Partner with Citi Sales partners to drive and execute new revenue opportunities for the Transfer Agency business
- Manage senior client engagement and relationships
- Work with local regulators and industry peak bodies on new initiatives
- Work with Operations and Technology partners to ensure that processes are automated and optimized to minimize operational errors and improve operating efficiency over time.
- Work with Operations and Technology partners to assist in the design and implement next generation solutions across markets.
- Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, multiple countries, region, or business requiring coordination and integration across units
- Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
- Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
- Help drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage vendor relationships, and prepare agreements
Qualifications & Skills:
- 610 years of relevant industry experience in the transfer agency or registry space
- Deep knowledge of the Singapore market and understanding of Hong Kong, Taiwan & Indonesia desirable.
- Experience managing across multifunction and/or global business
- Demonstrated curiosity about new technology
- Demonstrated experience in managing change, including introduction of emerging technologies and efficiency programs
- Experience dealing with and understanding of fund distributors highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to contribute significant improvement to process efficiency
- Knowledge of DLT and cloud infrastructure, and data as a service highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a teamoriented environment
- Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
