Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Singapore.

The incumbent is a key member of the Distribution Centre of Excellence (DCOE) team, with responsibilities covering division process governance, coordination across the Asia Pacific Distribution (APD) regions and implementation / deployment of best practices within the division.

The incumbent will work closely with APD department heads, region and district leaders and global business partners.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the Annual target setting process representing APD, work with Global, Industry team, provide summary, insights and updates to the APD team.
  • Lead strategic consulting projects.
  • Design and develop analytical tools, provide business insights to enable team efficiencies and strengthen governance processes (e.g. Digital dashboards, PR, PINS, ARO, Active customers online).
  • Provide leadership team with actionable insights to enhance service growth, focusing on Tier 1 metrics and key enablers.
  • Synthesize data to highlight critical areas for improvement and recommendations.
  • Create and deliver indepth presentations and briefing materials for executive reviews [Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Executive Office Reviews (EOR)] to facilitate strategic discussions and effective decisionmaking.
  • Drive collaboration on key strategic discussions through APD Strategy Forums, ensure alignment across APD.

What You Have:

Industry Knowledge

  • Operational/marketing/sales experience gained from a broad range of assignments requiring Dealer and/or customer contact and interactions is preferred.
Project Management Skills

  • Fulltime 6 Sigma or CPS experience is strongly desired, leading and managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
Strong Analytical Skills

  • Wellversed in Advanced Excel, Tableau, PowerBI.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work effectively with regional and global teams.
  • Strong influencing skills in managing stakeholders to drive change and system implementation.

Additional Info:


This position will require up to 20% of the time travelling and availability to take on nights calls 40% of the week.
