The Global Intelligence & Analysis (GIA) program within Citi Security & Investigative Services (CSIS) combines specialized global intelligence research and analytical resources in support of threat (cyber, fraud, security, and insider) intelligence and business analytics.

Based in Singapore, this position will report to the CSIS EMEA/APAC Regional Command Center Manager.

The Citi Security and Investigative Services Sr Analyst within the APAC Regional Command Center will be responsible for monitoring and responding to threats facing Citi throughout the Asia Pacific region and will undertake incident response functions within the GIA team should an incident of impact occur.

They will also be responsible for the monitoring executive travel and for the production of risk assessments when such trips occur.

A strong organizational background is required along with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities will entail (but not be restricted to):

  • Performing day-to-day monitoring of the Asia Pacific region for Security threats and geopolitical risks, including geopolitical and regional conflicts, political and social unrest, organized crime, terrorism, non-state actors, rule of law, environmental threats, infectious disease, and economic stability within the APAC region.
  • Open-Source Intelligence, including experience collecting and analyzing publicly available information
  • Maintaining good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance regional risk assessments.
  • Maintaining the regional guidelines and databases to include but not limited to: all regional facilities; emergency notification details for senior business leaders and regional personnel; directory of support organizations (e.g. security vendors) which would be utilized during a crisis; and updating country profiles.
  • Develop intelligence products that include a coherent and usable assembly of facts, inferences, charts, and findings which highlight regional security incidents to include: criminal actions, transport related accidents, major civil unrest, political unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, infectious disease and incidents that require multisector emergency response.
  • Designing and delivering effective operational readiness exercises in the region and liaising closely with the local business.
  • Proven ability to locate, synthesize, and interpret large amounts of textual and technical data such as Intelligence Information Reports, realtime opensource intelligence (OSINT) and taskspecific, specialized data sources
  • Demonstrated experience in and prior exposure to crisis response and operational support to incidents and events
