  • Ensure that all activities, are carry out work in conformance with Company and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality system
  • Carry out work in conformance with project guidelines and procedures
  • Work closely with operation team and provide technical support as required
  • Verify status of each engineering activities and solve the issue if any happens, in order to meet the planned EPC work schedule
  • Verify status for and assist in maintaining and updating the production ship's PFD / P&IDs for the process plant
  • Follow up production and injection plan. Participate in meetings with client as requested
  • Undertake process / production technical calculations for process plant
  • Update documentation for operation within the defined area of responsibility
  • Define, review, participate or head modification and project work within area of responsibility
  • Contribute to an effective work flow and work split with the operational organization and the other technical support disciplines
  • Ensure discipline checks for modifications and new revisions of relevant drawings and operations manual
  • Provide budget input and recommendations
  • Activity take part in improvement of Engineering department's work procedures
  • Contribute as necessary in technical investigations and inspections / audits, for both assigned unit and other units in the client fleet
  • Consult Technical Authorities for support when necessary to fulfill task listed in this job instruction
  • Independently define concepts, lead plan, manage, control, engineering deliverables required for the FPSO Topsides Process System within timelines and independently deal with and resolve all issues. Independently manages / develops solution to technical / engineering related problems
  • Performs software calculations (HYSYS for Process Heat & Material balance and check process condition evaluation, Aspen Flare System Analyzer for flare header sizing, Blowdown calculation), prepares design philosophy, design calculation for equipment size, pipe / valve size / flow calculation etc.
  • Prepares PFD, UFD, P&lDs, equipment & instrument datasheets, C&E diagram, utility balance, flare design including flare gas recovery system, conducts other process studies / reports, prepare facility description / Operation Manual
  • Evaluates all the bids received for process and utility packages from various suppliers and provide comments / approval in order to ensure selected vendors meet technical / engineering requirements
  • Reviews / checks drawings and documents from several team members
  • Participates in meetings, reviews progress and addresses interface / implementation / execution issues

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree of Environmental Chemistry and Engineering
  • Written and Spoken English with proficiency in Japanese language has an addtional advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Process Design Engineer in the field of oil & gas processing, FPSO topside process system, chemical plant and refinery process, working at various levels in engineering project, i.e. Feasibility Study, Basic Engineering, FEED, detail engineering and commissioning work at site
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Process Engineer
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as Lead Commissioning and Startup engineer at site of oil & gas processing
  • Experience of working with engineering contractors in a Client role
  • Strong personal commitment to Health, Safety & Environmental Performance
  • Ability to work proactively with minimum daytoday supervision
