Roles & Responsibilities

Job OverviewPurpose of the roleLead and supervise service delivery, provide training for volunteers based on program goals while adhering to ethical and legal standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Team Leads to identify eligible clients in recovery as per program criteria.
  • Work with Crest Team Lead to strategize volunteer recruitment, design training materials, organize befriender training, manage budget, execute and assess program.
  • Offer care coordination by creating and monitoring care plans, referrals, and follow-ups for at-risk individuals.
  • Organize outreach and screening initiatives within the community to raise awareness about mental health issues and identify early signs of illnesses.
  • Plan and execute cognitive stimulation activities for the community to support those at risk of cognitive decline and mental health conditions.
  • Facilitate matching of volunteers with clients to ensure social connections through befriending.
  • Conduct training sessions for volunteers on their roles, befriending responsibilities, and recognizing mental health symptoms.
  • Network with appropriate stakeholders to advocate for the services provided by Filos Community Services.
  • Document visits and sessions conducted by volunteers with clients to meet program KPIs.
  • Provide monthly administrative reports as per service requirements and maintain client and volunteer databases.
  • Undertake assigned duties by the Executive Director, Head, and Team Leads.
RequirementsExperience:
  • Proficiency in program implementation, volunteer management, and training.
  • Experience in case management, group work, and community engagement is beneficial.
  • Prior experience or knowledge working with clients facing Mental Health challenges and implementing Person-Centered Care is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills, motivation, and a service-oriented mindset to assist the community.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks and MS Office.
  • Self-driven, personable, and resourceful.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with various stakeholders.
  • Qualification: Graduate Diploma/Degree in Social Work.
