Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support and develop holistic Sustainability strategies including the development of methodologies / metrics to assess the viability and success of sustainability initiatives
  • Support externallyoriented Sustainabilityrelated initiatives (e.g. development of the Singapore Sustainable Air Hub Blueprint, partnership with external stakeholders, etc.)
  • Support the annual production of SIA's Sustainability Report
  • Support internal Business Units (BUs) led sustainability initiatives
  • Support sustainability engagement with external stakeholders such as Aircraft / Engine Manufacturers, Sustainability Rating Agencies, Financial Institutions, governmental agencies, NGOs, Corporate clients, etc.
  • Support the review / progressive implementation of Management Systems (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001, IEnvA, etc.), Social and Governance best practices
  • Collaborate with BUs in enhancing our sustainability communication through all available channels

Requirements:

  • University Degree, preferably with areas related to sustainability such as Environmental / Climate Science or Communications.
  • Prior experience, close to 5 years, in preparing Sustainability Report and familiarity with Sustainability reporting standards (e.g. ISSB,GRI, SASB etc.) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals is required.
  • Familiarity with emerging governance framework / standards (e.g. TCFD, TFND, SBTi, Green Financing, Sustainable Procurement etc.) would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge in environment and climate change, carbon footprint, energy efficiency, and Environmental Management System (e.g. ISO14001, IEnvA, etc.), Quality Management System (e.g., ISO9001) and Auditing experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong Project and Stakeholder Management and skills with the ability to influence and mange conflicting groups of stakeholders to drive positive outcome are required as the nature of work spans across the SIA Group of Companies, requiring meticulous planning, coordination and execution.
  • Strong analytical and IT skills, good writing and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently with key stakeholders, multitask, adapt and operate in an environment of high ambiguity is valued. A cando attitude is required.
