**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research
  • Conduct research related to the development of the group sustainability strategy
  • Review existing policies and procedures and draft a standardised approach/set of policies for topics. Based on the applicant's background and business needs this may be related to social issues (example, stakeholder and community engagement) and/or environmental issues (example, global warming, waste management) Stay abreast of sustainability trends and prepare monthly sustainability newsletter
  • Implementation
  • Support implementation of Head office sustainability action plan: employee engagement, small event management, desk research, feasibility studies, etc. Focus areas (nonexhaustive list): Energy, waste and water management, employee welfare, green procurement.
  • Data Management
  • Support on migrating information to groupwide software
  • Support with the GHG accounting for Head Office
  • Coordination
  • Internal sustainabilityrelated communication and meeting coordination

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge in and passion for corporate sustainability
  • Good command of IT, including proficiency in MS Office, Canva
  • Ability to conduct interdisciplinary research, work independently on assigned tasks and deliver highquality output
  • Ability to work remotely at times when needed
  • Good critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills Including the ability to work well within diverse teams in different cultural contexts
  • Clear and organised presentation skills Strong ethical orientation and aligned values
