The Search Team is responsible for pursuing satisfying search experience, and increasing positive search activity awareness on TikTok. Coordinate resources from all markets to bring traffic search consumption (Click, VTR, VV, etc), user acquisition, and search retention.

What will I be doing?
As a Search Optimization Specialist in the Search team, you will be responsible for search result optimization. You will investigate TikTok's resources, user demands, search quality, etc., to improve the business quality regularly.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily operations of TikTok Search, especially providing support services for XFN global partners;
  • Familiar with the content platform and search strategy, have a certain sense of user experience and user demand, including but not limited to data analysis, tools and platform optimisation and other ways to ensure that the positive impact on user search experience and online results;
  • In-depth understanding of the business process and logic of each business line of search, explore business opportunities and provide optimisation suggestions to relevant collaborators, establish standardised demand research, programme design, programme implementation and effect feedback mechanism to improve the user experience and online results;
  • Review the search optimisation requirements of key stakeholders, formulate the implementation plan, and safeguard the user experience, online effect, business objectives and compliance requirements;
  • Additional compatible and related responsibilities which are not necessarily listed above

Qualifications:

What should I bring with me?

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Min 2 years of Internet work experience, product operation experience or search operation experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent proficiency is both written and spoken English
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proven experience in regional/global crossdepartmental communication
  • Proven experience in coordinating, project management and establishing effective communication with operation, product, RD and other roles to promote the project landing
  • Have a great sense of data analysis, especially for complicated business matrix
