The Sales Management team plays a pivotal role in aligning all the business verticals on a unified data and decision-making platform.
The position holder would be involved in assisting Sales Management lead, while interacting with business leaders and members of all business verticals to enable knowledge-based processes designed to drive business goals.- In addition, this position will also play a key role in the implementation of the BOP framework in CBRE top markets, working along with market and functional leaders to identify opportunities for improvement, define action plans, review and monitor execution for each of the five BOP pillars.
Broker Operating Platform (BOP) is a global strategic initiative at CBRE, focused on strengthening broker support functions to drive differentiation, accelerate growth and attract/retain top talent.
The BOP comprises of five pillars:
Sales Management, Marketing, Research, Data and Tech Tools.
Primary Responsibilities
- (A) Sales Strategy & Operations
- Work closely with the leadership and business to curate, consolidate and implement business plans
- Proactively consolidate and prepare monthly/ quarterly reports for management
- Develop and maintain Sales operating processes and workflows in partnership with the business and respective platform teams
- Ensure the Sales Management libraries are updated and organized
- Administer business operation support eg billing, expense tracking
- Lead the follow through on sales operation initiatives eg referrals and fee shares, finance audits and other collaboration programs
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure and adopt market best practices across different teams and geographies.
- Active business engagement to drive alignment with overarching advisory strategy through system and data analytics
- Actively track news and intelligence on competitors, industries of interests, and macro developments in various markets, and targeted practice groups in support of wider sales management and firm initiatives
- Facilitate effective internal crossselling and collaboration
- Support client programs and client targets through relationship reports, progress updates and thought leadership materials
- Produce intelligence reports & other management reports to the senior management and business lines on a scheduled basis.
- Adhoc reporting and special projects as necessary.
- Coordinate feedback gathering processes across countries and business lines. Define project plan, timelines and expected outcomes. Review feedback, identify common themes and areas of market and functional leaders in defining the 35 focus initiatives every 36 months that address feedback and strengthen CBRE operating model.
- Steer BOP review meetings every month with the BOP team in country: a) overall review of the plan and execution, b) progress of BOP key initiatives in the last 30 days, c) risks/issues and help required. As well, coordinate quarterly BOP reviews with market and divisional leaders on a quarterly basis.
- Lead CBRE data assessment which measures the current state of the data, identifies opportunities and priorities.
a) satisfying the minimum data standards, b) introducing visualization tools that bring data to life, c) quantifying the impact of the program on business development efforts.
- Identify best practices and areas of opportunities where country leaders can collaborate, share learning and resources. Document best practices and facilitate interactions.
- Partner BOP team members in Singapore to implement on Singapore BOP initiatives as relevant
- (D) Relationship Building
- Develop strong working relationships with local liaisons within different business lines at multiple levels across the region.
- Collaborative and daytoday working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and be tireless in follow ups in order to deliver on schedule.
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate a complex organization to strengthen relationships to achieve results as part of the Sales Management & BOP Program objectives
Basic Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communicator passionate about driving change in the organisation.
- Demonstrated advanced Excel or other database modeling capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to articulate complex data and concepts both verbally and written in English.
