Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst will manage accounts (AP, AR & GL) and address yearly audit queries. Additionally, they will review the monthly reports of standalone entities.

Principle Accountabilities (Key Result Areas)

  • Support CFO and Finance Director for Group's Financial Operations
  • Manage full accounts (Independent Contributor) including month-end and year-end closures for investment holding firms
  • Review various entity accounts and collaborate with external accountants
  • Reconcile and confirm intercompany balances within the Group and its affiliates, reporting on these balances for month-end and year-end closures
  • Manage online banking transactions for payments
  • Review monthly reports of affiliate companies for accuracy
  • Offer financial insights and support implementing financial policies with compliance to accounting procedures
  • Oversee Year-end Statutory Audit, working closely with external auditors
  • Coordinate with Tax Agents for annual tax computation & submissions, ensuring timely compliance and filing
  • Work with Company Secretary on resolutions, AGM & Annual Return filing
  • Prepare group consolidations
  • Collaborate with functional managers to evaluate performance metrics, financial analysis, sales review, investment planning, and strategic direction
  • Provide support to senior management and project managers on key initiatives and projects
  • Create analyses, presentations, and materials for internal and external senior management meetings
  • Contribute to any ad-hoc projects as needed

  • Must have a Degree in Accounting or relevant field
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in bookkeeping preferred. Candidates with audit backgrounds in Big 4 firms may also be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in managing Statutory Audits for Group entities
