Position Summary

Senior Sales Specialist, Air Conditioning

The individual will be accountable for attaining revenue targets, ensuring quality distribution, maintaining in-store excellence, and optimizing operational efficiency for the designated account/channel in both B2C and B2B sales for Samsung Electronics Singapore's air conditioning division.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for achieving assigned revenue targets
  • Focused on driving sell-out to increase market share and manage channel inventory effectively
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with business partners through proactive account management, fostering trust and integrity
  • Act as a liaison between business partners and internal teams
  • Oversee the entire sales process to ensure successful deal execution
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery completion
  • Develop sales promotions and manage account operations for Air Conditioning Specialist accounts
  • Strong follow-up capabilities and adept at handling objections
  • Regularly analyze store performance to identify challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the retail marketing team to enhance in-store visibility and conditions while managing the field force team assigned to the channel
  • Support business partners' marketing activities through collaboration with the marketing communications team
  • Conduct weekly alignment meetings with the supply chain manager to ensure accurate sales forecasts and prevent stock issues
  • Follow up on potential projects and business opportunities with Air Conditioning Specialist accounts
  • Get involved in the air conditioning design phase and value engineering
  • Implement sales strategies focused on achieving targets through cooperation with channel accounts
  • Address problems with a diverse scope, utilizing analytical skills and sound judgement to find solutions
  • Manage account receivables and payables promptly

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification of a Diploma, preferably a Degree (in Mechanical Engineering or Business Management), with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in retail or projects, ideally in the ACMV field
  • Proven track record in sales and strong key account management skills
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C sales is desirable
  • Strong cognitive thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, with strong project management and presentation skills
  • Must have own vehicle
