Outsourced Procurement ManagerAbout Us

The team responsible for managing and enhancing our Manufacturing Partners from a contractual standpoint with support from various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the key liaison and primary contact to oversee the relationship between Dyson and assigned suppliers
  • Manage and facilitate regular and ad hoc tasks with suppliers to ensure timely completion of objectives
  • Conduct internal meetings with various teams to align goals with Dyson's best interests
  • Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders efficiently
  • Offer strategic advice to management for informed decisions
  • Provide guidance and leadership to meet Dyson's commercial targets
  • Mentor junior team members
Key Deliverables
  • Lead cost negotiations and achieve cost savings targets
  • Negotiate commercial contracts for new and existing suppliers
  • Complete tasks and communications within deadlines while meeting objectives
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and deliver optimal solutions in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate leadership by resolving issues effectively and guiding teams
  • Manage internal and external relationships effectively
  • Collaborate across teams and exceed job responsibilities
  • Focus on developing people within the team
About You
  • Hold a degree in Engineering with over 10 years of procurement experience
  • Strong commercial background in Manufacturing/Engineering
  • Experience in working with EMS and CM vendors
  • In-depth knowledge of Global procurement and legal regulations
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats
  • Strong problem-solving and project management abilities
  • Solid business acumen and data analytics skills
  • Comfortable in a challenging work environment and under pressure
