HCSA Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre offers a caring, safe and therapeutic environment to help teenage girls who have suffered the complex trauma of physical, sexual or emotional abuse. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Aftercare Manager is responsible for strategizing and overseeing the programme, community engagements, communications, and database of the DRTC Alumni Group (OWENA). Supporting the DRTC residents toward the end of their programme, the Aftercare Manager will also aid in the transition of the residents back to their families and back to the community. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders for case management, advocacy work and resource management
Programme Management
1. Plan and implement the OWENA Programme.
2. Organise and facilitate events, programmes, and activities for OWENA.
3. Set and review targets and activities for OWENA Programme on a regular basis.
4. Ensures effective overall administration and sound fiscal management of donations/funds restricted to OWENA.
5. Conduct and assist in the impact evaluation research done for the OWENA Programme.
6. Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding OWENA Programme implementation and progress reports.
Case Management
1. Provide support and follow-up to OWENA members who require assistance as part of aftercare support.
2. Engage and collaborate with community agencies in the provision of after-care casework/ counselling, or interventions and treatment services.
3. Oversee linkups and referrals to relevant community agencies and social support.
4. Maintain a database of OWENA and current needs profile.
Community Relations, Outreach, and Partnerships
1. Organise and supervise community relations activities and initiatives pertaining to recruitment and outreach for OWENA.
2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with community agencies, corporate partners, volunteers, and donors of OWENA.
3. Coordinate, collect and provide contents for Strategic Communications/Partnerships collaterals and presentations related to OWENA Programme.
4. Leads or supports volunteer activities relating to community & corporate engagement activities/ events for OWENA.
5. Organise and oversee the growth of OWENA and engage them in the area of advocacy and volunteerism.
Others
1. Participate in special projects/programmes and committees.
2. Perform additional duties as required by the nature of the position or as requested by Supervisor/Director.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSEducation And Experience
1. A bachelor's degree, preferably in social work or other related field of study.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience with youth at-risk,
3. Experience working with volunteers/ community management will be advantageous.
4. Strong leadership skills are necessary for directing OWENA and overseeing events.
5. Needs to be flexible to work on weekends and Public Holidays when required.
