Lark Startup Ecosystem Team

The Startup Ecosystem Department is on a mission to become the go-to partner for startups, providing them with the essential support they need to accelerate their growth and success.

We aim to empower startups by leveraging the power of the ByteDance ecosystem, making Lark their exclusive solutions for productivity and collaboration.

Lark for Startups is a program that empowers and accelerates the growth of promising startups through the power of Lark.


  • Off-cycle Internship - Starting 14 August 2023

Responsibilities:

  • Startup Sourcing: Conduct research and identify promising startups that align with our program's objectives. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to source startups from various channels, including venture capital firms, accelerators, and incubators.
  • Startup Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for startups accepted into the program. Guide them through the necessary steps, provide support, and ensure they have the resources needed to fully benefit from the program.
  • Program Development: Assist in the design, development, and execution of the Lark for Startups program. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to shape and refine program processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Continuously evaluate and improve program workflows, documentation, and guidelines.
  • Partnership Building: Establish strategic partnerships with key ecosystem actors, including venture capital firms, Incubators, Accelerators, technology companies, and other relevant organizations. Collaborate with partners to create synergies, drive engagement, and expand the program's reach.
  • Brand Awareness: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies to raise brand awareness for our Startup Program. Create engaging content, manage the community, coordinate social media campaigns, and explore innovative channels to attract new clients and drive program participation
  • Market Expansion: Explore opportunities to expand the program into new markets and geographies. Conduct market research, analyze market trends, and propose strategies for program expansion and localization.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze program data to generate meaningful insights and track key performance indicators. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate program progress, outcomes, and recommendations to the management team.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree, with a focus on business, consulting, entrepreneurship, or a related field. MBA is a plus
  • Strong interest in startup ecosystems, venture capital, and technology trends.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse and senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to derive insights from data and make datadriven recommendations.
  • Proactive and selfdriven, with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to deliver highquality results.
  • Previous experience in a startup is a big plus.
