Global Trade and Receivables Finance, spanning across over 60 countries with a team of 4,500 individuals, aids suppliers and buyers in fulfilling their export and import finance requirements. We are currently on the lookout for a top-notch professional to join us as the Country Head of GTRF Client Management - Commercial Banking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guiding a team of Client Managers (CMs) to drive revenue-generating activities and enhance value by delivering exceptional customer service and proactively engaging clients for business opportunities
  • Serving as a point of contact for local, regional, and international teams regarding customer-related matters and transactions within the market
  • Fostering collaboration among local stakeholders on customer initiatives and experience enhancement
  • Assisting the Country Head of GTRF and Regional as well as Global CMs in customer-related endeavors and initiatives
  • Expanding business volume by providing exceptional customer service and actively engaging clients for additional business
  • Ensuring customer retention by addressing customer concerns, feedback, and complaints pertaining to GTRF transactions
  • Referring new business prospects to Sales and Relationship Management teams
  • Offering customer feedback to relevant GTRF teams in the event that propositions impact customer experience

Lead the CM team in:

  • Delivering value-added services to customers, such as guidance on GTRF products, processes, transaction documentation, Service Reviews, Trade Academies, and other related events
  • Collaborating with GTRF Services, Sales, Relationship Managers, WCOO, and other stakeholders to address customer issues promptly and process urgent transactions efficiently
  • Remaining informed of customer feedback, errors, and complaints received, addressing and rectifying them where possible, and providing feedback to other teams when necessary
  • Offering customers technical advice and clarification on transactional matters
  • Proactively monitoring urgent transactions from Premium customers to ensure timely completion

Requirements

  • Possession of a university degree and/or relevant experience in functional leadership in customer service, sales, or operations
  • Solid understanding of Core Trade, Guarantees, Supply Chain, and/or Receivables Finance
  • Ability to lead and inspire other managers and staff, employing suitable management approaches to achieve goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, encompassing verbal and written communication abilities (in English and local language), along with negotiation and influencing skills
  • Capability to exercise sound judgment in problem-solving while upholding service performance, budgets, timeframes, and output quality
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively with local, regional, and global teams
  • Proficiency in crisis management; making sound and timely decisions in challenging situations
