  • 16 minutes ago We are currently working closely with a global Data Centre Operator in search of a skilled and accomplished Senior Application Manager in the field of Information Technology to join our organization. As the IT Application Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing the successful deployment and management of diverse IT systems across our regional offices situated in Singapore, Malaysia, and other locations. Your primary focus will be to ensure the streamlined and effective utilization of these systems to meet the operational requirements of the organization. If you are successful in the role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of highly talented individuals who are professionals in their own rights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategies for the deployment and maintenance of IT systems across multiple regional offices.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Supervise the installation, configuration, and testing of IT systems, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, service level agreements (SLAs), and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals, offering guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, providing recommendations for process improvements and innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels to define IT strategies aligned with business goals.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in managing and deploying IT systems, preferably within the IDC or data center industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of software development methodologies, system architecture, and project management principles.
  • Proven ERP project management experience, particularly with SAP or Oracle (at least 2 full cycle projects), with a preference for finance knowledge.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, database management, and cloudbased technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and mentoring a diverse team of IT professionals.
  • Exceptional problemsolving abilities and a strategic mindset to identify and resolve complex IT issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Relevant certifications, such as PMP, would be advantageous.
  • Fluent proficiency in the English language, both orally and in written communication.
