What You'll Do:

  • Manage production environment by monitoring availability and alerts and promptly remediate any issues that arise in production environment
  • Design and deliver infrastructure solutions that will help build, deploy and handle the service components of the platform
  • Investigate various open source and proprietary technologies, components, libraries, tools etc. and help build a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable system
  • Demonstrate technical leadership in multiple domain areas, providing mentorship to other team members as well as partnering with development teams to improve services on an on going basis
  • Demonstrate leadership by taking responsibility and ownership of F5 Cloud Platform software components and deliver a complete product satisfying functional, scale, performance and manageability requirements
  • Handson coding in multiple languages while considering performance, scalability, maintainability, flexibility as well as develop tooling, processes to make sure F5 Cloud highly available, scalable and highly performant
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities in our services, platform on regular basis and participate in oncall rotation

What You'll Bring:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in SRE Development/Operations domain
  • Experience with building and designing distributed network control plane
  • Attention to detail, can do attitude and mindset to raise the bar is a must
  • Technical confidence and familiarity with DevOps tools
  • Deep understanding about Linux System. Prior experience as a system administrator is highly desirable
  • Hands on experience with Python or Golang
  • Hands on experience with DNS, Security, Virtualization, Containers, Capacity planning, Kubernetes and at least one of the Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
