Job Summary:

Our client is a prominent real estate investor in the region with impressive investment track record and global institutional investors.

With over $150 billion in total assets under management, they have presence across key APAC markets (China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, India, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.

They are looking for an Assistant Fund Finance Manager to join the growing team in Singapore, supporting the new fund mandates.


Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with respective APAC countries and perform review and oversight of monthly accounts/management reports of investment holding companies and quarterly consolidated accounts of the Funds as prepared by the service provider
  • Assist in preparation for quarterly investor report for Funds and coinvestments
  • Prepare quarterly reports and adhoc deliverables requested by investors and head office
  • Review management fee and carried interest calculations
  • Liaise with tax advisors on tax filing and submission
  • Review annual statutory and nonstatutory financial statements for investment holding companies and limited partnerships in Singapore
  • Liaise with external auditors to get the annual statutory and nonstatutory financial statements signed off by auditors and management letter issues resolved
  • Work in coordination with the service provider to handle corporate secretarial matters for investment holding companies
  • Work with fund management team to determine projected capital calls and expected distribution amounts
  • Review capital call and distribution notices prepared by service providers
  • Review actual vs budget results
  • Managing the invoice approval and payment process in coordination with the service providers to ensure the authorization is in compliance with the relevant Delegation ofAuthority matrix
  • Support deal acquisition and divestment by providing Finance related information
  • Reviewing overall financial controls and suggest improvements

Requirements:

  • A good university degree in the area of accounting and/or a CPA holder
  • 45 years of relevant work experience, with experience in a public accounting firm within the Audit function (specialisation in real estate fund environment is a bonus)
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous with details and accurate with numbers
  • Possess an analytical mind, resultsoriented and enjoys working in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment
  • Possess strong learning agility and an eagerness to pick up new challenges
