Roles, Responsibilities and Skillset required:

  • Helps with duties of other employees (i.e. line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, etc.) when necessary because of an unexpected absence or extra volume.
  • Maintains strong lines of communication with entire leadership team and staff to drive the success of the restaurant.
  • Manage and Assists kitchen inventories.
  • Teaches each staff member proper technique and execution.
  • Supervising a team to ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy.
  • Maintain and follow proper hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Assist with POS systems by entering and processing orders.
  • Cook all orders that are enter in POS system, enter orders on POS system, clean kitchen when closing.

Must possess knowledge and cooking methods of the following dishes:

  • Rice Pulav/Rice Bath Variants
  • Kadamba Sambar Variants
  • Andra Dal or Pappu
  • Veg fry/Poriyal
  • Andra Rasam Variants
  • Veg Kurma Variants
  • All Chettinadu items
  • All North Indian dishes
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
