Roles, Responsibilities and Skillset required:
- Helps with duties of other employees (i.e. line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, etc.) when necessary because of an unexpected absence or extra volume.
- Maintains strong lines of communication with entire leadership team and staff to drive the success of the restaurant.
- Manage and Assists kitchen inventories.
- Teaches each staff member proper technique and execution.
- Supervising a team to ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintain and follow proper hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed.
- Assist with POS systems by entering and processing orders.
- Cook all orders that are enter in POS system, enter orders on POS system, clean kitchen when closing.
Must possess knowledge and cooking methods of the following dishes:
- Rice Pulav/Rice Bath Variants
- Kadamba Sambar Variants
- Andra Dal or Pappu
- Veg fry/Poriyal
- Andra Rasam Variants
- Veg Kurma Variants
- All Chettinadu items
- All North Indian dishes
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
