DESIGNATION :
Research Engineer (1-year contract), SCIS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of new NLP methods
  • Implementation of the developed methods
  • Evaluation of the implemented methods
  • Writing of research papers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (or having completed four years' of study in a degree program with good academic results) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in NLP
  • Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and PyTorch will be positively considered
  • Demonstrated experience and knowhow on NLP, particularly large language models
  • Experience with at least one large language models, such as GPT APIs, LLaMA or Alpaca is preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of machine learning and NLP model training
  • Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Applicants with research publications in NLP area will be advantageous
  • Selfmotivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
