Responsibilities:

  • Solving 1. and 2.

Level Support Tasks from the DHI Service Desk:

  • End User support related to laptops and modelling machines.
  • Windows Deployment including the initial introduction to IT at DHI to new colleagues onboarding.
  • Manning of the Service Desk
- when it ́s your turn in the schedule.

  • Assist 3. level support and operation by collaborating with the Infrastructure and Network teams.
  • Assist DHI Customer Care team with incidents where there is technical aspects or root cause.
  • Cooperation and cosupport with the Business System team (SharePoint and Office 365 solutions).
  • Granting passwords and accesses for local employees to local systems.
  • Ordering, distributing, and keeping inventory of IT equipment in DHI Singapore following Global standards and procedures.
  • Providing support in the selection of solutions, purchasing, warranty and postwarranty repairs of computer equipment necessary for the implementation of projects.
  • Delivering IT assistance on local and regional projects

We would expect you to possess these skills:

  • Good knowledge of computer equipment and practical experience with laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, etc. (assembly, installation, configuration, diagnostics, repair, maintenance, coordination of warranty and service repairs).
  • Knowledge of issues and the ability to configure operating systems, network, Wifi, network printing, connecting a projector, audio equipment.
  • Practical experience in the field of software (installation,update, interventions with end users).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 package.
  • Technical knowledge about collaboration tools of different kind.
  • Able to communicate well in English.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Responsible and forthcoming attitude.
  • Good organisation of own work.
